In a recent study at the Stanford University School of Medicine, researchers found that radiologists augmented by AI outperformed both AI and humans working alone. The “human-in-the-loop” model, as denoted by the study, produced the “greatest diagnostic accuracy” of all the models, improving diagnosis and prognosis of patients. What implications does this have on the future of digital health?
